Introducing NestVest Lite
Big day!
Our application “Buy That Duplex Lite” has been replaced with our newest application “Nest Vest Lite“.
I’m excited! Here it is in iTunes.
This implementation will be a bit bumpy. When BTD Lite was released back in the day, I put it under my programmers account. I wasn’t 100% sure people would like the application and I didn’t want to spend an extra $100 on top of all the programming to create my own account. Well, nine thousand plus (9,000+) downloads later and I’m regretting that decision. Apple won’t allow me to transfer the application from the programmers account to my account.
So, this is how we’re rectifying my problem.
First: Release NestVest Lite into the wild utilizing my iTunes account.
Second: Release and update for BTD Lite, announcing this program will no longer be supported and encourage users to download NestVest Lite.
Third: Update “Buy That Duplex Pro” to NestVest Pro. NestVest Pro is coming in a few weeks.
Fourth: Allow all the BTD Lite users to download the announcement and upgrade to the new product.
For those of you who don’t have an iPhone, I present to you the first screen shots of BTD Lite and NestVest Lite.
I think you’ll agree: we’re heading in the right direction.

it looks like an iphone application should … if that makes any sense. i’m noticing an absence of teddy bears but it is probably buried in one of the other screens. i’m ok with that.
Teddy bears are coming in release 2.1. Which should be mid-june.
Looks good. Why does your buy now link go to a Download ITunes screen? Shouldn’t and can it go directly to your app (which I couldn’t find in the store btw).
I’m not sure what you’re seeing. When I click on the Download button, it does take me to iTunes to the exact screen to download the application. You may have to pay attention if your computer is prompting you for an application to open the link. When I do this in Firefox, I have to select iTunes as the software to use. I did a search in iTunes under “NestVest” and the application is listed. ??
I don’t have Itunes on my computer so that’s probably why. Do I need ITunes to get to the Apple IPhone store?
Yes you do. Using the iPod or iPhone requires iTunes.
