Free Home Depot $250 Gift Card

Posted on February 5, 2008 - Filed Under Housing |

Todays post got pushed back so this message could get out.

While wandering around the appliance section a Home Depot, a sign caught my eye.  Purchase any appliance before February 10th, 2008 and receive a $250 gift card in the mail.  The gift card is sent after receipt of a rebate form.

I don’t know if this is at all Home Depots.

This begs the question:  What to do with the gift card?

Well, you could give it to yours truly.  Or you could be selfish, evil and keep it for yourself.

I was wondering: would this work with a 10% off coupon?

The refridgerator I was looking at was $750.  Ten percent off is $650.  The matching stove was $350 (or $100 after $250 gift card reduction).  So what . . . $850 for a brand new full-size fridge and stove?

The only caveat of course would be having to wait until the gift card arrives before purchasing the second appliance.

You can use a 10% off coupon with the gift card. However be sure you will actually get a $250 gift card. Home Depot usually has in small print that it is a gift card up to $250 and the cheaper appliances are usually in the $50-$75 dollar range for the gift card.
