Staring at a blank wall is something I have mastered.
It took about 5 minutes. Then it got real old.
There’s nothing left to get done. Except find a tenant, of course. But the days of arriving at the houses and working until dark are over. What little work remains is in the hands of the contractors.
This is nothing new for me. In college, oftentimes it was hard to relax after completing a semester filled with projects and final exams. Those first few weeks after the term had ended were filled with a nervous agitation, an expectation I should be doing something.
I have a laundry list of items to complete, including laundry itself.
At the end of the day, I’m going to have to make a conscience shift down. Adopt a more relaxed posture, not tense up every time the phone rings.
Nah. What fun would that be?

What? You are not out looking for your next project? Did you sign that listing agreement yet? Time to take that 30 percent ROI that the Real Estate Agent promised and put it (and you) back to work!
Have you sat down with your mentor yet?
Um . . . I guess my sarcasm was a little too subtle.
Per the last line, I have no intentions of slowing down.
Hey there~ Congratulations on completion!
With all this mythical free time on your hands you can make another video (hint, hint
And your mentor said…?
If I were in your shoes, I might sell this property without tenants to give the buyer maximum flexibility in using the property. The buyer might want to occupy one or the other of the houses and rent the second unit out. Or you might attract a multi-generational family seeking a second unit for parents or an adult child. Did Real Estate Agent express an opinion on which scenario would yield the highest price?
Connie, there’s an idea being hatched for another video.
AI, I truly do appreciate your belief that I’m an over-achiever. This is simply not the case. I haven’t spoken with my mentor yet nor has the house been listed. Once a course of action has been decided on, I will report back.
