Back House Progress Photos

This is not my year for cameras.
Tile, tile everywhere tile. Discussions floats back and forth: carpet or tile for the renters. Carpet is fast. And cheap. But requires replacement every few years. For this house, tiles were given a chance to prove themselves. Only the bedroom was spared from tile installation.
Hot off the presses, some photos from the back house.
This toilet means relief for the front house. Now the day workers have some place to answer the call of mother nature.
The new shower tile is installed. This tile was the cheapest Home Depot had to offer. The shower kit came with some kind of plastic wall . . . things. The contractor agreed tile would look better. The only item missing: sink.
The ceramic tile installation came out better than anticipated. Normally straight installation is avoided. However, doing any pattern such as staggered or diamond requires more tile, more installation time. My motto: Fast and Cheap.
The closet area looks nice. And the paint color on the walls blends nicely with the look of the tile.
The electrician has returned . . . from where I do not know. But he swooped in and once again continued work on the electrical.
Two things on the list to complete: kitchen and bedroom. Kitchen will be ready to go. Bedroom requires paint on the walls and ceiling then carpet installation. Probably a weekend job.
