Completely new floor has been installed. While it may not be perfectly flat, it is close enough for government work.

Please note: the poop brown color has been replaced with two coats of thick, thick primer. The "bathroom" area.  The subflooring was rotted out of existence.  Completely replaced.

Many of you will weep but the electrical meter can’t stay in the bathroom.  Personally I would take great satisfaction in taking a shower while watching how much electricity I’m using. I had the workers close off the far window.  It was already broken.  Since the window served no real purpose it was closed off.

Oops.  Some of the poop-brown escaped!  Actually this is all that remains of the closet.  That was torn out as well so a queen size bed could be put into the room.  My days of sleeping on a super single are over! After the dry-wall was torn out, the plumbing was worked on.

From the outside: a concrete barrier was installed, buried 12 inches deep to prevent water from coming in contact with the foundation again.

Wow, you are my hero! Can’t wait to see the finished product.

It’s been awhile since I’ve actually visited this blog site (I usually read through Google) but your new pic…you’ve lost weight!

That’s actually an old pic. But I have lost weight. Working will do that to you!

Those are great photos. It’s really interesting to see photos of the progress you’re making.
