“If you limit your choices only to what seems possible or reasonable, you disconnect yourself from what you truly want, and all that is left is compromise.” - Robert Fritz

The second house has fallen into my field of vision.  It’s time to get it ready.

A meeting has been scheduled with the contractor to see what needs to be done.  His optimisum is encouraging but I have to remember one thing: anything is possible if you have enough money.  Since I’ve only been able to find 3,385 soda cans on the road, my budget is limited.

What does this mean?

Kitchen by Ikea.

I hate Ikea.

Update: No interest on the front house.  I may have to get creative.

Today is September 27th. People that need to move on October 1st have generally found their spots. You might be able to pick up someone that has procrastinated or has not found what they want yet. Today and tomorrow are your prime advertising opportunities. Time to throw yourself into a marketing campaign!

IKEA huh? I knew you’d come around sooner or later!

AI, I believe people will need a 30 day notice for wherever they may be staying now before moving in. So my thought has always been “30 days from now”. I may have to do some creative marketing. Or think of another scenario.

    Paty, No comment. :P

In markets where there is plenty to pick from, you would be surprised how many people give notice and then look for a place to live. The busiest rental time for my Phoenix property managers is around the 20th of the month. If your rental market is as tight as the Bay Area’s, people will find the new place before giving notice.

You still might find a straggler or someone that is moving into the area and wants to be in by October 1st. If I were in your shoes, I would market heavily.
