Two Years
Posted on August 3, 2007 - Filed Under Personal |
Catching up with my blog reading, Bruce announced his one-year birthday for his blog. (Happy Be-Lated by the by).
Then it dawned on me: my next one year was due. And it is. CmD is two! Have a piece of cake!
Holy Cow.
The growth of this blog project has really surprised me. One aspect, recently manifesting itself, is how my writings either inspire others or help others continue among their projects. Emails from the inspired people are the high point in my day.
It is with sincerest desire that this blog continue to inspire and help those who may read it.
Thanks again to all of you who read, leave comments, send emails. All of them are appreciated.

Congrats, Cliff! Happy 2nd year and a wish for many more.
Thanks!
Congrats! Do you post your financial plan here, or is that too personal? I would be curious how the business end of things works out with your rentals. I see you are going for a high end renter? Does that pay off? How long to recoup your upgrades investment?
It would be interesting to see a graph of when you break even or go positive, even if you left the dollar amounts off of the axis.
Best of luck going forward!
Hey Arthur, thanks! and Thanks for stopping by!
Overall financials I prefer to keep to myself. Call it a nervous habit when talking large numbers.
For the new set of houses, I plan on doing an analysis similar to what you suggest. But I have to wait until the ink dries on signed contracts before I can proceed.
Higher end renters, while they can be a delicate, are needed in order to relieve a large portion of the monthly expenses.
Congrats on year two! (And I am now sooo hungry for cake.)
Happy B’day.
Happy Blogday! May you have many happy years of blogging to come!
