Living Conditions
This is nice.
When I told people what happened, the outpouring of offers to help has been overwhelming.
I do have a place. A friend was gracious enough to rent me a room. It’s in a quiet little ‘burb’. Just outside my window, there are little duckies swimming in the pond. That’s nice in case I get hungry.
The problem is the sleeping arrangements. Since I cannot (and refuse) to sleep on the floor, a bed must be found. Mine was tucked away into the pod, last month. Extracting the mattress, box spring and frame from the pod will be an all day affair. Too much drama.
I’ve decided an air mattress will work just fine. Back in the olden days, the air mattresses I slept on were horrible. Holes were everywhere. Lord Google revealed air mattress technology had matured at a nice clip. In addition to built in pumps, hardness adjustment controls and heated cup holders, these marvels of technology now come in 25 inch thicknesses which almost simulates the height of a real bed. Since I clear 6 foot, this will be better on my legs getting out of bed.
There’s a newly remodeled kitchen, wifi internet and tv (which I don’t watch). I’ve been told I can cook whatever I feel like in the kitchen as long as I share.

And how are we today?
When things start to get really stressful, life has this funny way of letting me cool off.

It sounds like Chez Cliff has a new location! I’m sure your menu will be enjoyed.
If you’d like to visit Oklahoma (avoid Chicago’s O’Hare, like I said), I’ll put you to work in the kitchen! And, we even have an air mattress, too! You’d feel right at home. LOL!
Come to think of it, I’m hungry. Your blog always does that to me.
When I come to Oklahoma, it will be to eat all your steaks. Steaks in CA are the worst!!
But cooking with friends is always a happy time.
