This here put me in the "Way Back" machine. I remembered being little and my parents were making their monthly trip to town to buy groceries. The closest city, called Saginaw, had a Meijer Thrifty Acres . . . . which is kind of like K-Mart’s with a grocery store. I remembered that this Meijers was located on Tittabawassee Road. It took me until the age of 10 before I could say it correctly.
I had to go along because, more than anything, I wasn’t old enough to be left alone. The last time I was, I set the carpet on fire.
But hasn’t every kid set the carpet on fire at least once? C’mon, don’t play innocent!
With my $2/week allowance, I fed the PacMan machine. RichDad definitely was not around when I was young.
