Robert Kiyosaki has started a podcast service on the Rich Dad website.  His first podcast, lasting a whopping 3 minutes, is nothing more than an introduction.  There are promises for more.

The second podcast is from a radio talk-show host called "Dave Ramsey".  He’s a good, old boy from somewhere down south as is most of his callers.  He is a personal finance advisor and, on occasion, psychologist.  He’s been featured in Oprah and is a New York Times Best Seller.

Initially listening to Dave Ramsey, I was horrified by some of the callers and their stories.  People with $75,000 in debt yet with gross incomes of $30,000.  Real people, real situations.  After listening to story after story, depression started setting in and I nearly turned the podcast off.  Then something interesting occurred.

Not every caller has been crushed by an avalanche of debt.  One caller asked Dave if they were better off forming an S-corp or a C-corp for their business.  An independent business owner asked Dave if forming a "Roth 401k" for her sole proprietorship was practical.  (Please note that a "Roth 401k" is different from a "Roth IRA" or a "401k".  It’s a combination of the two - something I didn’t know.)

I try and listen to Dave’s podcast daily.  His podcast, actually, is the first hour of his three hour radio program.  Dave might be a good radio personality but I won’t give him three hours.
