The list of “LASTS”

Before I prepared myself to write this blog, I thought to myself that maybe I was being too sentimental. Then I remembered that this year, I’m not apologizing for being myself. If people don’t like it, tant pis*!
I awoke this morning to Steve Stevens "Flamenco a go-go". If you’ve never heard it, you should. It’s a great song! The first thing that went through my head was "This is the last day I will be waking up in an apartment!"
And then the list continued.
This is the last day I:
- shower in my apartment
- fix breakfast in my apartment
- pull an espresso in my apartment
- dodge the gigantic spider web on my balcony
- decend the stairs to go to work
- pull my car out of my parking spot
Yeah, my brain works that way.
*tant pis - Too bad!
